Using the site

The site describes reupholstery, furniture repair and restoration services available in New York City and lets you request a quote. You may use it for that purpose. You may not copy the photographs or text for another business, scrape the site, or use it to send spam or automated requests.

Quotes are not contracts

A quote given by text, email or phone is an estimate based on the photos and description you provide. It is not a contract. The price can change once the piece is inspected in person, and any change is put in writing before work starts. Work begins only when you and the workshop agree on the written scope and price.

Fabric you supply is used as delivered. Yardage recommendations are estimates; ordering extra is your decision.

Pickup, delivery and your building

Pickup and delivery are scheduled with you and charged as listed on the written quote. You are responsible for telling us about building rules, certificate of insurance requirements, elevator reservations and access limits before pickup day.

Liability

The workshop that performs the work is responsible for the work, its warranty if any, and the care of your furniture while it is in its custody. This website and its operator are not responsible for the quality, timing or outcome of any job, and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the courts of New York County, New York.

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of the page shows the current version. Questions go to admin@nycreupholstery.net.
